If the home costs $500K and the seller offers a 3% commission, your cash return is $3000.
If the commission is 2½%, your cash return is $2500.

If the home costs $600K and the seller offers a 3% commission, your cash return is $4,500.
If the commission is 2 1/2%, your cash return is $3,750.

If the home costs $700K and the seller offers a 3% commission, your cash return is $6,300.
If the commission is 2½%, your cash return is $5,250.

If the home costs $800K and the seller offers a 3% commission, your cash return is $8,400.
If the commission is 2 1/2%, your cash return is $7,000.

If the home costs $900K and the seller offers a 3% commission, your cash return is $10,800.
If the commission is 2 1/2%, your cash return is $9,000.

If the home costs $1 million, and the seller offers a 3% commission.
Your cash return is $15,000. If the commission is 2½%, your cash return is $12,500.
